Promoting Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Among Rural Youth

Unemployment remains one of the biggest challenges facing young people in rural areas. The Entrepreneurship & Self-Employment Awareness Program was developed to inspire youth to view entrepreneurship as a viable and empowering pathway.

Through awareness sessions and interactive discussions, BATAI FOUNDATION introduces young people to the principles of entrepreneurship, innovation, and small business development. Participants learn how to identify local opportunities, transform ideas into viable ventures, and explore income-generating activities suited to their communities.

The program encourages creativity and problem-solving, helping youth understand that entrepreneurship does not always require large capital, but rather knowledge, initiative, and persistence. By fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, we empower youth to become job creators rather than job seekers.

This initiative plays a critical role in reducing youth unemployment while promoting sustainable economic growth at the community level.
